ABC Events Caribbean Beach Party @ Tesco Irvine
With authentic steel drums, professional and not so professional limbo dancers, stilt walkers and gorgeous showgirls, the mood was set for an amazing Caribbean Carnival!
The “hit” equipment today without a doubt was our fabulous Surf Simulator. Expertly controlled by the ABC Events staff ensuring the “surf” was ability appropriate we had all ages testing their skills to see who could stay on the longest before inevitably falling into the “surf”.
Our “Big Kahuna” today was young Michael McGonagall, one of our youngest contestants who was able to stay on the ABC surf board at will and no amount of under current could dent his prowess on the board.
The ABC Events staff made sure no one would go hungry today, especially those with a sweet tooth, because the ABC Candyfloss operators were spinning giant clouds of sweet delights for all to enjoy, in the ABC Events Beach Hut.
For those with a more savoury appetite, the Tesco deli and promotions team were providing a sense of theatre with packed ABC Usherette Trays demonstrating some of the new summer food ranges for 2015 that Tesco’s have to offer.
Of course no beach themed event would be complete without our Caribbean themed pop up beach, complete with six foot realistic palm trees, buckets and spades, a huge sand pit and hilarious beach style standees for a selfie opportunity or two. The beach was full of sand angels and castles of every size imaginable as the children of Irvine enjoyed an early summer holiday.
Tesco were more than thrilled with the success of this sunny venture with all involved adding their unique fun personalities to the proceeding, ensuring all who participated had a memorable and fun filled day.
