Macrae Family Fun Day
As a thank you to their staff, Macrae Edinburgh invited us to add our expertise and equipment to enhance a fabulous day of games, competitions and inflatable fun.
Catering for both adults and children we brought along our trusty bouncy castles and ball pools for the "little 'uns" and for the more adventurous, the Wrecking Ball or Land Zorbs. There was no sign of Team Spirit on the Wrecking Ball as each of the four players tried their best to bounce their opponents of their pedastal as fiercly as possible, resulting in some hilarious dives!
For a more sedate experience, at least compared to the Wrecking Ball, was our Land Zorb circuit. Enjoyed by small and older kids alike, the Land Zorb is great fun as you race around our inflatable circuit in a giant hamster ball. For the smaller childrenour trained staff helped them spin and flip and bounce around as well.
Inbetween all the bouncy frivolities we had new team member Abbey showcasing her facepainting skills to an eager crowd all through the day with nearly all the children getting their face painted in all manner of colours and designs. Fave faces this time around has to be , yet again, Minions, Vampires and Skulls.
Whilst the children enjoyed themselves the Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting brought all the sharp shooters to the fray and the parents managed to escape for some target practice. Shooting our day glow laser clays down the course, even managing to get a "hole in one" as one of the clays landed into the oversized football golf holes! You couldn't make this up!
To bring the entire event to a close, our compere David launched into the Summer Games with the children competing for the win in Egg and Spoon races, Space Hopper races, Skipping and Sack Races - with everyone winning a prize for taking part. David even managed to persuade the adults to have a go and a couple of wipe outs along the way had everbody in stitches. No matter though as they also got their bag of sweets for being good sports.
As the red moon began to make an appearance it was time to call a close to the days spectacle as the crowd moved indoors for a well deserved meal and dancing. Special thanks to Connie for organising a fantastic day and to all of the team at Deer Park.
